dear Denis,

I had those vinyls once…the whole Mike Oldfield and Alan Parson’s discography…but back then we used to listen to the music. Now, it’s different…
And can you imagine how much hard disk space and servers they need to store all the wav’s u want? tons! but again, who needs quality besides 2 old farts like us? :)

Have you ever listened to music ?
I don’t mean Pop, Rock, R&B or other type of sub-products,
I mean MUSIC :-)
Try, and you’ll see that you can’t satisfy yourself with compressed shit, unless you became deaf, of course. But then, it’s another topic :-)

By the way, 99 cents for a single, that’s 10 euros for an album. That’s exactly the price of a CD. So… give me at least CD quality, thanks.

yeah, and too bad vinyl is gone, hahaha, come on Denis, u buy mp3′s for 99 cents, what do u expect? and..u really think the new generation really cares about your perfect radio quality wav’s? funny! but good u opened this topic.

Can I respond with another question?
How many illegal torrents and other sharing interfaces do you think are in the world? I am telling you over a milion and iTunes and another few like it are in minority and just not so interesting. Why? Because people love to cheat, people like to steal and everything that is forbbiden is more attractive. So don’t worry I think in the next 50 years people will continue to steal good uncompressed music and ignore opportunities like The Beatles collection for $3.

Since few years Tv invent DVD, HD & Blue Ray, for more & more quality.
Since 30 years we always play cd in 44.1 16 bits formats. Only one things was invented for large public mp3 with 128 kbs compression.
When could I found music with master quality ?
When could I found music on 5.1 surround mix ?
