Let’s admit it : the title of this article is deceptive. Yeah… I’m not asking if you could switch off your radio RECEIVER. Well, no… the thing is… for Earth Day… would you, radio operator, accept to SWITCH OFF THE TRANSMITTERS ?
That’s the fantastic idea NRJ BELGIUM came up with. And they pushed it further. They even created a special logo for that.
For those of you who were far from Earth in the last 25 years, THIS is the logo (last version) of NRJ group :
And THIS is the logo they created to promote their Earth Hour campaign !
Now… would YOU turn off your transmitters for one hour ?
