Would you stop your radio for one hour ?

I have to admit it : the title of this article is deceptive.

Yeah… you probably think I was asking you if you could switch off your radio RECEIVER. Well, no… the truth is… for Earth Day… would you, radio operator, accept to SWITCH OFF THE TRANSMITTERS ?

That’s the fantastic idea NRJ BELGIUM came up with. And they pushed it further. They even created a special logo for that.

For those of you who were far from Earth in the last 25 years, THIS is the logo (last version) of NRJ group :

And THIS is the logo they created to promote their Earth Hour campaign !

Now… would YOU turn off your transmitters for one hour ?
